Analyzing Image Quality via Color Spaces

Abstract

Color space is a mathematical representation of a set of colors. A large amount of color spaces have been proposed for different purposes. But the RGB color space is a fundamental and widely used color space, and other color spaces are usually defined by transformations of the RGB color space. In this paper we focuses on transformation of RGB color space into Other color spaces in images. Also we are conducting a statistical analysis of the sensitivity and consistency behavior of objective image quality measures. So that quality of the image result can be decided which Color space is better when compared with RGB color space.
